The National Museum of Industrial History, a Smithsonian Affiliate, is housed in the 18,000 sq. ft. former Electrical Repair Shop in Bethlehem’s iconic former Bethlehem Steel complex. Just a short walk away from the Sands Casino and the SteelStacks, the Museum is home to exciting exhibits, engaging programs and amazing history. View artifacts on loan from Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History that were part of the Centennial Exhibition, learn about the history of the Bethlehem Steel, peak into the life of a Lehigh Valley textile worker, or take a ride in our virtual hot air balloon. The Museum is a fun activity for the whole family with interactive elements throughout the exhibits.
